Data Collection

Data collection is:

…useless if incorrectly done!

…waste of time if not used to make decisions, that are of course aligned with organizational goals.

…ineffective if there are no resources to interpret the data. Misinterpretation can disastrous.

…is likely used to generate reports that no one will even use or read.

Virtue aside, data collection seems more likely to be done wrong or misused (if used at all), and never acted upon. Of course this leads to the question of what is the point?
